Would your student like to run a carnival game at our Hero Night? All students can enter our Carnival Competition by creating a carnival game. If your student is interested in this fun activity, they will need to bring their homemade game to school on April 26th to present to the judges. Winners will then set up and run their game for a couple of hours during the Hero Night on April 28th.

The first and second graders at Apple Valley are so creative and artistic. They have a weekly art class with Mrs Daems  where they learn about so many styles of art and are able to create amazing projects.  Recently first grade worked on self portraits and second grade created ice cream cones. 

Our first and second graders also do great art projects in class with their teachers. Check out some of the fun projects they have been working on recently in class. 

Nebo Mental Health Series: Building your child's Confidence

Two of our students, BJ and Kizzy, were able to perform at the State Capitol as part of the Title VI Indian Education performing arts group. 

This week our awesome student council members, Wyatt and Brexton, chose to highlight Ms Grunderg, one of our amazing second grade teachers. Apple Valley absolutely loves Ms Grundberg and is grateful for all she does for our school! Here is what they learned about her:

Our lost and found is overflowing with winter clothes! If your student is missing a coat, jacket, hat, lunchbox, or any other items, please have them come check the lost and found soon. The lost and found will be emptied over the weekend. 

Lucy T, one of our amazing student council members, chose to interview Donace Vasquez this week. Donace is a kindergarten technician as well as completing her student teaching in  Mr Vernon's second grade class.  Here is what Lucy learned about Mrs. Vasquez:

Our 2023-24 Registration is currently open for all new Kindergarteners as well as returning students in 1st-5th grades. While many families have registered, we are still waiting on registration to be completed for about half of our returning students.
