Mr. McCarty wanted to celebrate these amazing 5th graders today! He noticed during their lunch that they were walking around the lunchroom, picking up all the trash. He noted that after they were done they washed their hands and then left to go to recess without even mentioning anything to him. They weren't asked to help, nor did they tell him they were doing it. They simply saw an area were they could help and they stepped up. What good kids!!

Apple Valley STEM Fair will be next week, on Friday, February 11. This Science Fair is open to all grades. Participation is optional and not required. We are so excited to see the STEM projects our students have been working on!

Yesterday our cute 1st graders celebrated the 101st day of school dressed as Cruella and Dalmatians! They had such a fun day!

"Mrs. Blackhurst is a wonderful teacher. She is a fourth grade teacher in Apple Valley. Mrs. Blackhurst's favorite thing about Apple Valley is teaching her students and when old students come visit. Her favorite thing to teach is language arts. Mrs. Blackhurst loves to cross stitch and watch Netflix. She really likes Main Street Pizza's chicken cordon bleu. Another treat she likes is a Take Five Bar.
