Red Ribbon Week
Last week we celebrated Red Ribbon Week, encouraging students to pledge to be Drug and Bully Free. On Friday, students were able to wear their favorite hat as they pledged to 'Be kind to your mind and live drug free'.
Halloween Parade Info
Apple Valley Elementary will celebrate Halloween Tuesday, October 31 at 2:45 pm.
Policy for costumes at school: * No weapons or pretend weapons *No colored hair, but wigs are ok *No face paint *No masks, but can be worn during the parade
We will have our costume parade at 2:45 p.m. This is held outside the school, and parents are welcome to attend. The attached map shows green areas where parents can sit or stand. As you park, please do not block our west-side bus lane.
Faculty spotlight with student council
This week our student council members, Sawyer D and Lilly M, chose to interview Mrs Everitt for the Faculty Spotlight. This is what they learned about her:
2nd grade fieldtrip
Last week, 2nd grade had a fantastic fieldtrip up Spanish Fork Canyon where the rangers taught them about wildlife and nature. It was a lot of fun and the kids learned so much.
