Kindergarten Graduation

Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of kindergarten?! 

Graduation times are as follows:

10:00 AM for morning kindergarten

2:00 PM for afternoon kindergarten

Students will come at their normal times, but can be checked out after graduation.

Free Summer Meals

Nebo is partnering with the Utah Food Bank again this year to provide free summer meals in four of Nebo School District communities. Fresh and free summer meals will be offered every Monday through Friday.

Who: Youth up to age 18
What: Fresh and Free Summer Meals
When: Monday through Friday, from May 31 - August 12, 2022

Springville Area: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Springville Splash Pad/Library, 45 South Main Street, Springville.

Mrs. Wimmer's class excursion!

Mrs. Wimmer's class had a fun excursion today to see all of Mr. McCarty's equipment. They even got to sit on the tractor and lawn mower!

Teacher Spotlight by Student Council

This week we had Jaylee, Jaxin and Liam interview Mrs. Stubbs. Here is what they found out!

The spotlight of the week is Amy Stubbs, her position is an ESL technician. 

Mrs. Stubbs favorite thing about Apple Valley is the Co-Workers and Students. Her favorite thing to teach is Reading, and she has been teaching for 23 years, she is retiring this year. Mrs. Stubbs' least favorite food is pizza, her favorite treat is Coke Zero, and her favorite kind of ice cream is chocolate. She was born on May 24th, and she has 4 kids and 5 grandkids. 

Ms. Middlebrook's Spaghetti Towers

1st Grade Field Trip

Our 1st graders had a blast on their field trip today! They went to the Bean Museum and then the park in Spanish Fork for lunch and to play.

Computer Fun!

For the last few weeks in Computers Specialties, the 5th grade students have been  learning how to use Google Sheets.  They are competing against each other, and Mrs. Liddle, in a series of simple games.  They are learning how to enter their scores on a google sheet that tells them information such as: total score, maximum, minimum, and average score.
