Apple Valley's Chess Club season is coming to an end. Our last club event will be a tournament next Tuesday, March 29, in our school gym.

Participants will not come to school for 8:00 a.m. Chess Club on Tuesday. Instead, they will come to school at the regular 9:00 a.m. and go to their classrooms. Students will be called down to the gym throughout the day to compete in their matches.

PM Kindergarten students are invited to come to AM Kindergarten that day (9:00-11:35) so that they can participate in the tournament. Those students are welcome to come back to their regular class that afternoon as well.

Awards ceremonies will be at 11:30 a.m. for Kindergarteners and 2:30 p.m. for grades 1-5. Parents of Chess Club participants are invited to attend the award ceremonies, but not the tournament.
