Kidneys for taylyn

In 2022, Taylyn Healey (9) contracted Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP, also known as IgA vasculitis), a disease that causes the small blood vessels in their skin, joints, intestines and kidneys to become inflamed and bleed. Taylyn has had a serious case of the disease, along with other problems and has already had to have her kidneys removed from her body. Taylyn undergoes dialysis three times a week and will need a kidney transplant in the near future.

This charity event will give 100% of the proceeds to the Healey family to help with medical bills. She is such a bright spot in our community and she deserves the very best care and help in combatting this disease.

The event will be held at Taylyn's school, Apple Valley Elementary, in Santaquin, UT. To register for the race or to donate, please visit https://runsignup.com/Race/UT/Santaquin/KidneysforTayZel
