For the spotlight this week, our awesome student council members, Miles and Briella, chose to interview Mr McCarty, our amazing custodian. This is what they learned about him.

Favorite thing about Apple Valley: working with all of the kids

Favorite hobby: being with family and hanging out with his dog

Favorite food: Mexican 

Favorite treat: cheesecake

Any other questions they wanted to know: Mr McCarty is 35 years old. In his free time, he likes to do yard work and anything outside. He chose to become a custodian because he enjoys being with kids and experiencing new things. Mr McCarty's favorite place to travel is Capitol Reef. His favorite color is orange and when asked if he has ever had glasses, the answer was yes.
