Mrs Lisonbee's second grade class has been reading  many books and working on their noun skills and good citizenship.  They read "A Bad Case of Stripes to learn about ABC order and then they talked about how it's okay to be different and tried some lima beans. 

Another book they read is "When I Was Young in the Mountains.  They learned about nouns, made a noun town, and made butter just like they did in the story. They learned about matter with reversible and irreversible changes as they made butter.  They spread their butter on cornbread,  something the author ate in the story.
