Vision Screening Announcement:

Healthy vision and hearing is important for your child’s success in school. Apple Valley will be doing a (tier 1) vision screening for Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 5th on August 30, 2023. Preschool students will be screened at a later date. If your student wears glasses or contacts please help your student(s) remember to bring them to school for the screening.

Hello Parents!

We are so excited to get the first few days of school under our belts. Your kids are doing amazing things, and we love having them here.

Please join us today, August 22, from 1:30-3:00 for our Kindergarten Open House. Please practice walking from the front of the school to the classroom with your child. Beginning the second day of Kindergarten, parents won't be permitted beyond the school foyer to help us foster school safety. All students will enter the school through the front doors.  For the first several days of school, staff will be available in the foyer and in front of the school to help walk students to class as needed.

KEEP Assessments will be given August 16-17. Testing is under 20 minutes, and you will remain at the school during testing.

Please sign-up for the KEEP Assessment with your student's assigned Kindergarten teacher. To find the teacher, login to your iCampus Parent Portal.

Monday (August 7th) is the day teacher assignments will be posted! Follow the steps in the picture to see who your teacher is and to pay donations and lunch money.

Today is August 1, and we are just a few weeks from beginning a new school year! We hope you have had a fantastic summer break with your families. Here are some things to know as we prepare to return to school.

Great news! Due to changes made to the Preschool Program at Apple Valley Elementary, we are now able to accept a larger number of preschool tuition students. We will be accepting 3 or 4 year old students who live in Santaquin or the surrounding area.

The purpose of this program is to prepare your child for Kindergarten success, using a research based curriculum that aligns with the Utah Preschool Core Standards.

2-day options are Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday. The morning session runs from 8:45-11:15 and the afternoon session runs from 11:45-2:15.
