We are so excited to have Chris Latham as our new 5th grade teacher here at Apple Valley and wanted to introduce you to her. Ms Latham has three children (all girls), and four grandchildren (3 grandsons and one granddaughter) and she loves camping, hiking, playing games, sports, art, and reading with them

Ms Latham has been teaching for 11 years. She is ESL endorsed, attended BYU Arts Leadership Academy, and is currently working on her math endorsement. Ms Latham has taught 2nd and  3rd grades, worked with 4th and 5th grade groups, and taught art to all grade levels for one year. This is her first official year teaching 5th grade. She absolutely LOVE 5th grade! 

In her free time she loves being with family, learning new things, reading, being outside, vacationing and painting. Over the summer she went to the Oregon Coast with her family and had a blast. 

Ms Latham states, "I am so excited to be teaching at Apple Valley. The staff, students, and parents have made me feel so welcome. I love the engaging and peaceful feeling I have when I walk through our school doors."  We are happy to have you at Apple Valley!
