halloween parade route

Apple Valley will celebrate Halloween at school on Monday, October 31. It is a regular Monday Early Out Day. School will be out at 2:30.

Policy for costumes at school:

  • No weapons or pretend weapons

  • No colored hair, but wigs are ok

  • No face paint

  • No masks (can be worn during the parade)

We will have an all-school parade at 1:30 p.m. This is held outside the school, and parents are welcome to attend. The attached map shows green areas where parents can stand or sit.

Students will make one loop walking counter clockwise around the whole school. The parade takes about 10-20 minutes.

If you have an AM Kindergartener or Preschooler who would like to participate, they can come and join in the parade. Those students can just jump in line as the parade goes by.
