Two of our student council members, Lincoln D and Ava L, chose to spotlight Mr. Argyle. This is what they learned about him:

Favorite thing about Apple Valley: Ava and Lincoln and all of the sudents

Favorite thing to teach: Students

Favorite food: anything his wife cooks

Favorite treat: chocolate

Other questions they wanted to know: his favorite sport is soccer. Mr Argyle told them all about the certificates he has hung in his office.

Apple Valley loves Mr. Argyle!

Some of our fourth graders had a lot of fun on recess today creating a little skit.

Heidi Whittaker works for the Utah Parent Center as a Parent Consultant and is contracted specifically with Nebo School District to provide free assistance/resources to parents who have children with special needs in Nebo School District.  She also helps parents who suspect their child may have special needs.  Heidi's role in Nebo is to help facilitate communication and assist parents in understanding options and resources, which may include the IEP/504 process and Special Education Law.  Please refer to the flyer for her information.

Wednesday, September 6, will be School Picture Day . Bell Photography is doing our portraits this year.  Every student will have their portraits taken whether you order or not.  You can order portrait packages online at Bellphoto.com with  Prepay Code: applevalley23.  Or you can return the portrait pamphlet with cash or check on September 6. Additional pamphlets are available in the office. Retake day will be October 24.

The PTA is getting ready to put in another spirit wear order! If you weren't able to grab a t-shirt or sweatshirt at the Open House before school started, fill out the form below and we will add your order to ours.
