Hello Apple Valley Parents and Friends!

We wanted to update everyone with some information regarding our upcoming school year. Including the back to school open house and teacher assignments.

First Day of School:

August 18th for 1st - 5th graders

August 25th for Kindergarteners

School Hours:

Monday (early out day) 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Tuesday - Friday 9:00 am - 3:15 pm

Kindergarten Hours:

Monday AM 9:00 - 11:15 

Tuesday - Friday AM 9:00 - 11:35

Monday PM 12:15 - 2:30 

Tuesday - Friday PM 12:35 - 3:15

 

School front doors will be open at 8:50 am. If your child eats school breakfast, the NorthWest gym doors will be open at 8:30. We would still encourage every family to apply for Free & Reduced lunch and breakfast. You can simply apply by loggin into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, click "More" and then choose "Meal Benefit". You will be emailed shortly after applying. 

 

Teacher Assignments

You will be able to see your childs teacher on August 6th. You will find this by logging into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The back to school open house will be held on August 17th from 1:00 - 3:30 pm. 

 

Kindergarten KEEP Testing

We will be creating a Sign Up Genius and posting it on the website shortly. All kindergarteners will need to be tested before being assigned a teacher. Testing will take place August 18th -August 23rd.

 

Lastly, we'd like to remind you that on July 28th you may come into the school from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm if you need help registering your child for school. 

While we are getting so excited to see all your kids again, we hope you enjoy your last few weeks of summer!
