2019/2020 Office Helpers

Submitted by morgan.kinyon on

We had the best office helpers this year. Each girl was assigned a day to come in early and work in the office from 8:30-9. They would answer phones, help students, take notes, and just make sure the office was ready for the day! We couldn't have been as productive as we were without their help. We are definitely going to miss these amazing students next year! Thank you Megan, Cambrie, Brynley, Paisley and Charlie for your help, it was so appreciated!

1st grade super readers!

Submitted by morgan.kinyon on

I figured this was a good time to post pictures we've been taking through out the school year!!

Here is a picture of some awesome super readers! These kids all read over 100 books by January! They each got to come to the office and pick out a new book! We are so proud of them. We hope everyone is still practicing their reading at home!

Apple Valley Rockstars!

Submitted by morgan.kinyon on

I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to our amazing faculty members! We went to pick up lunch today and everything was going to smoothly. They were running in and out of the school to get your lunches out to you as quickly as possible. Our lunch ladies ran out of what they had prepared, so they were working hard and fast in the kitchen, assembling sack meals as quickly as they could. I could tell all of them were smiling, even though they had masks on! :) I loved watching them wave to the students in the cars in front of us. We truly have the best team at Apple Valley.

Dear Parents/Guardians:

As you may have heard, Governor Herbert and State Superintendent Sydnee Dickson have extended the “soft school closure” until the end of the school year.  Although we are disappointed that we will not be able to work with students in our usual manner, we understand why the decision was made and fully support them.  That being said, we now will need to address a variety of very unique situations.
