Wednesday was our chess club tournament! What a fun day this was. Our cute students had a blast playing all day. We are so proud of all their determination and hard work this year. They all improved so much!

Payson High School had a fun science demonstration for our 5th and 6th graders! They had some amazing experiments and the students loved them. They got to ask questions afterwards and it looks like we have some budding scientists on our hands!
Kindergarten registration, traditionally held in March, will be moved to the summer and combined with grades 1st -12th. More detailed information regarding summer registration for K-6th will be put on the website before the end of the school year. Parents can prepare now for registering their kindergarten children by making sure they have a birth certificate and that their child is current on the following immunizations: DTap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, Varicella and MMR by the end of July.
SEP Confernces will be held this Thursday, March 14. Our PTA is looking for help with the dinner for our teachers that night. See the link to the signup sheet if you are able to help.
Friday was our last day of Dr. Suess week. It was pajama day, and probably the day everyone looked forward to the most! We were just missing a blanket and pillow!

Our darling 2nd graders gave an amazing performance Friday. They started learning these songs clear back in November in music class with Ms. Hoschouer. Students also recited poems about National Symbols, veterans, and independance. They also learned the sign language to The Stars Spangled Banner! How amazing is that? We are so grateful for everyone who contributed to this amazing program. We have the best 2nd graders!
Wednesday we had fun wearing our wild and crazy socks and slippers to school! I think we should make this day a weekly tradition, slippers are the best!

Tuesday was CrAzY hAiR dAy! We had some pretty creative hair do's! We love seeing all this school spirit!
This week has been Dr. Suess week! We kicked off our celebrations Monday morning with a talent show assembly! And Monday was wear a hat day.
1st and 3rd grade teachers along with the office staff did a synchronized swimming routine. Ms. Smith has quite the bruise from her dive!
2nd grade team had pictures of their faces blown up and preformed a dance routine. You should see Ms. Miller floss!!
4th grade team taught us all the proper way to Netflix and Chill! Ms. Blackhurst made the day passing out popcorn and sodas!
