During the past week, all elementary schools have been participating in a district wide Keyboarding competition as part of the keyboarding program for 4th and 5th grades. We would like to congratulate the top keyboardists in our school who each received a certificate and golden keyboard. 4th grade: Melody S 5th grade: Jaxson C  Jaxson also placed in the top 15 of the District winning a cash prize.  

Chess club 2024 was a big hit ! A big thanks to all of the staff and parent volunteers who made it so successful! Club members have been attending one morning a week since Feb ending with a school wide tournament this week for all chess club members.

Madi M, one of our great student council members, chose to interview Ms Mortensen this week. She asked a lot of great questions and learned some fun facts about her. Apple Valley loves Ms Mortensen!
